So, I got up this morning and got ready to go to work. On my way out, I took my usual route... leave my house from the back... walk through Brewer's Park, and then I take the #20 on Victoria & E26th Street. To my surprise this morning, I saw something peculiar while walking through Brewer's Park...





Since when did the park become a public landfill? HELLO?!? The Vancouver Park Board is not responsible for cleaning up YOUR garbage. We're glad you bought a new washer and a new mattress... but we didn't have to deal with seeing your old one IN THE PARK. For goodness sakes, children PLAY IN THE PARK... With all of the effort it took to move the mattress and appliance (probably in the middle of the night) into the park, you probably could have called a waste/junk pick-up service. Some people really piss me off...

Well, it's been a while since I've updated... so here I am.  Reading break is passing by a lot faster than I though it would; I haven't even done anything yet and it's already TUESDAY!  Yikes.  I'd better get started on some assignments...
Hmm... does anybody watch Passions anymore?  It's so obvious that it's on the bottom of the soap opera hierarchy, and they change/replace actors on that show more often than I change my clothes (okay, not really... but pretty much).  The story lines are dumb and all of the actors suck!  I'm sorry if anybody reading this (if anyone at all) is a Passions fan... but I mean come on!
As for my New Year's resolutions... I DID gain weight!  w00t w00t!  However, I got some sort of stomach flu/digestive tract virus and then I couldn't eat for 3 days... well, I could eat but I lost my appetite.  I peaked at around 178ish pounds and then went back to 173.    The woes of trying to gain weight...

Who else is addicted to Heroes?  Man that has to be some of the best TV in a long while... I don't think I've ever seen TV as good as this since the first season of Lost.  Lost season 2 was lame-o... hopefully Heroes doesn't end up the same way.

Alrighty, I think that's enough for now... time for homework.

Well, I was tagged by Nova... so, here are "Random Things About Me"

1.  I really like canned soup - particularly minestrone or chicken noodle.  Primo and Campbell's are the best...

2.  I've never been on a plane before.  As a child, I watched too many bad movies where the planes always go down... and that kind of scarred me a bit, but recently I've really been wanting to go on one.  The opportunity has yet to present itself...

3.  I was a pretty bad kid while I was growing up.  I stole things, vandalized properties, and bullied others regularly.  The crew I hung out with for most of elementary school and the beginning of high school... I don't think most of them graduated.  A few of them have criminal records.

4.  I'm very superstitious, especially when it comes to exams/tests.  I refrain from watching pornographic videos (and essentially try to rid myself of all sexual thoughts) for 24 hours before the actual exam (I gotta think with the right "head" ), in addition to getting 7-8 hours of sleep the night before.  On the day of the exam, I do NOT eat eggs or anything made from/with eggs.  At the exam room, I sit in either the 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th, or 8th row/column, always avoiding the 4th, 6th, and 13th seats.  I always bring water and a Mars bar.

5.  I refuse to join Facebook, just like I refuse to use "torrents" to download media files.
